Michelin Anakee Adventure
This will be my fourth set and I really like these tires! They're great for pavement, wet or dry, and the same for fire roads and gravel/dirt roads. The do what I ask of them for around 7000 miles.

Best yet
I found AMT on the ADVForum and decided to give them a try and I’m glad I did. Great prices, followed up by a quick email & call to confirm address, and tires that arrived around 3 days later. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.
Back to the tires. These were mounted on a ‘15 BMW GSA. Aside from the OE TKC80s (IIRC) that came with the bike, I’ve tried the TKC 70s, Anakee 3, and Tourance.
I mounted themself and they were pretty easy after leaving them in the sun for about an hour. The TKC70s I remember were tough...maybe it was just me.
I’ve only put around road 200 miles on them so far through a mixture of city, highway, country, and mountain roads. They’ve preformed exceptionally well. No off-road yet, but it’s coming. After scrubbing them in, I took them through a known set of twists and dragging bags and pegs doesn’t take much effort. Very confidence inspiring. Oh, and if you happen to go triple digits with these tires on everything stays planted. There’s no high speed wiggle/wobble (which I’ve had with other tires).
In the limited time I’ve had them on, I’ve ridden through some pretty heavy Summer afternoon downpours and true to their word, they remain grippy. At no did they get squirrely going over painted lines, cornering over cross walks covered in that vinyl plastic non-motorcycle friendly stuff, etc...
I read/watched a few reviews stating that due to their profile, the bike wants to fall into turns...I don’t find that to be the case. In fact I think it’s a pretty neutral turn-in both in slow speed bar lock turns, as well as, in the higher speed twists.
I think this may be the first tire I’m willing to buy again....not unless they’re terrible off road, which at this point I strongly doubt.
