Shinko 705 17" Rear Tire
One set of 705's will do me 7500 solid miles in 80/20 service on my dual sport bike. Best value out there for a great tire and I keep coming back for more!

Best Performance Value
The Shinko 705 Series tires are all I run on my BMW F800GS for 80/20 service. Properly balanced, these tires provide long life, superb performance, and no surprises. They outperform tires that are twice the price. I can find no reason to run anything else.

Shinko 705 150/70-17
Service was great. Got the tire in three days and put about 300 miles on it so far. It always floors me how much better a new tire handles after the old one slowly deteriorates. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for motorcycle tires.

Shinko 705
Probably the best tire you can buy that is great on asphalt and reasonably competent off-road. I've run Avon Trailriders and like them a lot. Good longevity, fair in gravel, and great on asphalt. My initial review of these Shinko 705's is good on gravel, and great on asphalt with longevity remaining to be seen. On my CB 500X I can grab a fist full of throttle now on the 705's whereas I had to be more careful with the Avon Trailriders. If you are mainly an asphalt rider and have intentions of riding fire roads with any frequency and want a tire that has some competence, I would highly recommend these.

Shinko 705 tire
I have run several of the 705’s between my Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Ténéré. They are a good reasonably priced tire, I get around 6,000 miles from the rear tire and 10k miles from the front. Predictable handling, ok on gravel but there are better tires off road. No issues in the rain but I don’t ride them hard in those situations.

Short term review
Miles 250, definitely more road noise than Battlewings. Slide into a ditch 4x4 groove on a gravel road 1mph nap for the Strom. Figures never did that on the BW502/501s.

Great tires!!!
I put these on my 2014 DL1000A to get better performance on gravel roads. They give a very sure footed feel there. On pavement you can lean them way over and they are fine in the rain. Dinged them a star for straight line tracking but i just bought another set. See you on the fire roads!
